How do i transfer applications from itunes to my itouch?

I have downloaded the applications to my itunes already. But everytime I sync it, the applications doesnt show up in my itouch. What do I need to do for the applications to transfer?

Normally it does it automatically if it doesn't click on the Apps/Games stab in iTunes when your iPod touch is connected and make sure that the Sync Apps box is checked and that any new apps or games are checked to be synced then click APPLY at the bottom of the window I just bought Pac Man for my 5th gen iPod yesterday and had to check the same boxes. iPod touch features guide http://www.apple.com/au/ipodtouch/features/
4. Plug in your iPod touch and click on it in iTunes under devices. Along the tabs at the top, click under Applications. Make sure the check box is ticked for 'Sync Apps'. Then sync the iPod touch. Your apps should appear on the iPod now.
5. You need to instruct iTunes to include 'Applications' when it syncs your iPod Touch. It doesn't do it automatically untill you set it up to do so.
